ARCHIVE: Critique of "El Sistema's Star..." (October 2016)

Being curious about an article in Vulture-Devouring Culture titled "El Sistema's Star–and Its Inherent Flaws–on Display," I was disappointed that only one paragraph and a single sentence was about the actual performance. The words did not tell me much about what was "on display" at Carnegie Hall other than the players' twirling in Mambo. Justin Davidson appears to have devoured a music review and regurgitated political commentary.
